Fashion Illustration Workshop

Come join Nicole Album of Nicole Album Illustration for an exciting day of learning the art of fashion illustration! This hands-on workshop will include a history of fashion illustration, demos of working with different art mediums and fun challenges.  You will walk away with a better understanding of how to mimic folds, pleats, and trims in your illustrations and how to give the allusion of different types of fabric. Croquis, or an outline of a human, will be provided and used as a templet to draw the fashions on. No drawing or illustrating experience is required and this will be an interesting class for all skill levels.

Class is Saturday, May 31st from 10-4.

Nicole Album is an illustrator represented by Spinning Yarn Agency working for clients in surface design, editorial and live events.  She has worked in fashion and textiles for Polo Ralph Lauren, Isaac Mizrahi, Pottery Barn Teen, Gymboree, Pair Eyewear, Cost Plus World Market and more.  Inspirations include high contrast in life: comedy &tragedy, old & new, light & dark.  She loves coffee, chocolate, animals and a good costume party.​

CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY:

Classes fill up quickly so it is essential to PRE-REGISTER.  If a cancellation is received at least SEVEN DAYS before the first day of class, a refund will be issued for the amount minus a 20% administration fee.  Cancellations received fewer than SEVEN DAYS in advance will not be refunded for any reason, including illness. If a class is canceled by Stitchology, you will receive a full refund. 

 

Some classes do require you to come to class with your project precut or that you work on "homework" between class sessions. We use the most size inclusive patterns we can. It is your responsibility to ensure the pattern will fit. If you do not fall within the size parameters for the pattern you will need to make arrangements with us to have your pattern altered before the day of class. Please understand, if you are not prepared we cannot guarantee you will be able to attend/or finish the class.  If the teacher is unable to accommodate you, you will not be refunded the class fee. If you are allowed to attend class, you will not receive any additional instruction time.  If you need help prepping for the class or finishing you may arrange for help prior to or after the class for an additional fee.
